On the closest island controlled by Taiwan, closest to the mainland, the water is supplied by China. On the other hand, what kind of a battle hardened army does China have...zero on that. Last war was in 79 against Vietnam and China nearly lost. And single child parents tell their kids not to lead any charges as they want them there in their old age. So, how strong is morale? And, you know, Americans are crazy fighters. The first kamikaze pilots were those Marine pilots in the Battle of Midway who knew they were flying to their deaths..they were wiped out to a man, but they went on. And the Admiral sent in the next wave of dive bombers...and they worked. And if some general makes some global prediction...always remember, in battle, at least half the officers are worthless. Lincoln is the most transparent on that.
