(If nothing else, he banned my AR-15 and my EVO Scorpion, the jerk.) but my wife and kids and I have been to the hospital several times over the last few years. I’ve never waited for 24 hours, and when I had something serious I went straight in. When I went in with a broken finger, I waited 90 minutes. I had non-urgent orthopedic surgery on my knee last year, and on my shoulder a month ago. Both times I was waiting about 60 days from when it was decided by my doctor. My care has always been good, thorough, and successful. My politics are hard right, but I keep hearing lies about Canada’s “failing” health care system in US media, and, sorry, it’s just not true. I constantly hear about what happens to you guys down south if you get hurt or have a heart attack when you’re uninsured, and it’s brutal. I thank God I live in Canada (except for our current government). Cheers. L
