Tibet, the Uighurs of Xinjiang, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Philippines. I remember you exposed in an episode that the Party once claimed all ethnic Chinese around the world as their own but every Chinese Canadian or Chinese American I know loves their culture but hates the party that tried to destroy that culture...then ran around for the next 50 years claiming Party and People were one in the same. Is president Xi planning to order all ethnic Chinese "home"? What of the mixed race Chinese? What's the point of trying to lay claim to land, seas and people that you have no right to? It isn't as though people that look like you but only speak English, French or Spanish and are used to speaking their minds are going to pack it up when they hear President Xi's clarion call. And China isn't going to take over Senkaku, the smaller Philippine islands or Taiwan without a long, unwinnable fight...that will undoubtedly become a 3rd world war! There are already over a billion people that can buy an iPhone or see the latest Transformers movie but can't speak freely out of fear of imprisonment, torture or worse. Isn't that enough? Free the Uighurs, free Tibet, free Hong Kong!
