2020-01-19 23:40:09 +0000 UTCIn deciding which troops to send into HK when the Brits gave it up, the ChiComs picked out tall troops in Manchuria (per my relatives there) and they had to speak good English. As for the effect of 20 years of ChiCom rule, one can say the the West has the "biggest" one of whatever. The demonstrations proved that these 20 years were a lost cause for the ChiComs. Patience on the part of those who would be free. These things should be noted.
