Sad to see what Hong Kong has become, with out-of-control police and the new emergency powers the Hong Kong government seems to be implementing. The more control the Chinese Communist Party tries to grab, the worse things are becoming for Hongkongers. But it was still incredibly moving to see so many people fighting for liberty.
That’s a spirit I wish more US companies would take up. This month we’ve already seen such incredible cowardice from the NBA, Blizzard, Apple and even Vans shoes. And yet oddly enough, it’s been South Park that has come to the forefront of raising awareness about the Chinese Communist Party.
I think the US has reached a turning point. When you have basketball fans getting their pro Hong Kong signs taken from them at a game in the US, people are going to start realizing the incredible reach of the Communist Party. And I don’t think people are going to like that very much.
Of course you who have been following China Uncensored for so many years knew all this wayyyy ahead of the curve. So thanks for joining Matt, Shelley and me on this incredible journey! I have a feeling that someday in the not too distant future there might not be a need for a China Uncensored.
