Speaking of Google and China, the roll up of US sources in China and Iran between 2009 and 2012 or so is apparently a result of deconstructing google search histories to identify patterns in communication with CIA controlled servers within countries with government controlled internet entry and exit nodes. This is very probably what John Reidy warned the CIA about in 2008 or so. Oddly enough, the old method of dead drops and trusted couriers is far more secure than more modern technical methods.
