So...please up-vote this on Reddit? I want Xi Jinping to see. <3

It is difficult to compare, because private companies in an open democracy may conform to their own ideals in the pursuit of monetization of information, within reasonable limits, and with plenty of alternatives that respect privacy, but the Chinese model is quite different in its approach, being that it is essentially a dictatorship with censorship and oppression as core values, and recently passed laws which compel its companies (which are in part managed by the Chinese Communist Party, since party members are required in management positions) to provide ALL data requested within hours of asking, with no due process, should underscore these differences. Furthermore, an online army of professional trolls in service of the CCP's goals, numbering 3-4 million members, with manipulative strategies such as using 'false equivalence' to make two very different ideologies, with very different goals, somehow seem similar. But that's how they earn 50 cents, per post, John. Perhaps you should review some earlier content from this talented team and gain appreciation for their efforts in ensuring your opinion will always be heard. Thanks for answering my question Chris!

Silicon Valley in the US does the same thing as the CCP. Namely censoring things they do not agree with. Evil is everywhere.

i'd also watch iran and the jews. the jews are always at the center of everything and, you know, iran happens to have the death of all jewish men and enslavement of their women written into its constitution.

Chris, nice beard. With the trade war, China belt an road deal, cyber attacks, aggressive territorial actions, and strait up theft as well as genocide. It seems like we are in the beginning stages of WW3. With China planning on dominating the manufacturing market by 2025 and how other news sites say China's military will be a grave threat to us by 2030. How powerful do you think China will become?
