#328 - This Stops 95% Of Self-Taught Guitar Progress

My friends, you voted for a new rhythm guitar workout - so I'm happy to present this awesome routine that features downstrokes, intervals, alternate picking, note value transitions, and more :)

Download your practice files for this week (tabs, guitar pro, backing tracks, play-along videos): https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1ntR5SDOUH5OK1om8TTqaXraP3w3uSFeK?usp=sharing

Check out the full modern rhythm guitar course: https://www.patreon.com/posts/208-modern-play-61019094

We're all guilty of not working on our timing and rhythm skills enough - so let's make sure to include this one in our routines over the next weeks! Since you're playing rhythm guitar 90% of the time in songs, it's extremely important to become a tight and reliable guitar player.

And as always, I also made a Dropbox folder for you in case Google Drive doesn't work: https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fo/y56txbik687rgxj64xsqk/AGca_cln5VvPqVPIjCcrfWQ?rlkey=p3u2byug8pronuev5m0knmtfz&st=25q72i8g&dl=0

Yes!!! Tired of the lead stuff. Rhythm, riffs and songwriting for the win!

great! i can get to 120 bpm without struggeling. but after 150 i gets really hard to keep up with the tempo. will do this until i get to 170 bpm! :)

This is the first exercise I've been able to play all of the levels on. Been plateaued with all the other ones so far. Feels pretty good!
