My friends, you voted for a follow-up lesson on more awesome & practical concepts when it comes to triads and arpeggios!

So allow me to show you the 2 main methods I personally use for my rhythm- and lead guitar playing :) I also made a helpful tab/exercise sheet and guitar pro file for you. Please download them directly below the post, no need for an external folder this week.

A killer workout for next week is already in the works, can't wait for you to try it!! Have an amazing weekend until then!

Sorry for the extension, I could not help it ;)

So be humble, take this as kinda martial art, and just have clear that if you wanna belong to the good ones, no posing, no distortion, have balls to play just totally clean, and it will come itself.

I just have been playing the last 20 years , not in a row, maybe periods of 2 years without touching a guitar,,,why??? mainly because the frustration created by bad teachers! If you cant playing 30 minutes at 60 bpm with consistence ( not a single error, stability of strikes=an even volume, of course without no effects, etc), youll never reach the highests speeds doing a kool, amateur to pro thing, NEVER. You´ll be just making noise.

And as my strcit opinion, in you tube, the 100´s of supposed teachers, are just trying to make a living in youtube, "practice the solo of "Fade to Black", its so easy....bla bla bla" What the hell! A te

I just can say, THANKS BERNTH

Eduardo Martín Alonso

It took me a MONTH, to have some consistency... But after 2 more weeks ; always using it as a start of my routine, I was able to make it in 15 minutes, and last, not seeking infernal speeds, jsut remaining between tempos 60 and 80, it goes itself, as a piece of cake, and if I am practising 3 hours, now I have the remaining 2h45min entirely to do and explore other things

I still remember the 15 minutes workout that Bernth posted reviewing 8th notes, 16th notes, alternate picking, arpeggios, string switching, rhythm, scale, chromatic workout, all in one exercise (post #166) at first I said, uff.

Remember the 100 times that Berth says, go back if you are stuck, play it not that fast, go slow , understanding a bit what and where you are playing, and be consistent, it will work out.

Eduardo Martín Alonso

My dear guitar players, IMHO I dare to say out load that mentally, any possible barrier should be left behind. Understanding that nobody becomes Berth in an overnight, why frustrate? It is amazing, because ANYTHING that Bernth recommends, ok it can be from easy to hard as it is, but NEVER is time lost. Simply practice, and remember all that Bernth recommends, (and every time, he does, so the "I missed that class" is not applicable)

One thing I really like about Bernth is that he reinforces these concepts without being repetitious. This method is really working for me! From time to time I will surprise myself with what I've learned when I'm writing songs. Vielen Dank, mein Herr!

Thank you for simplifying this, I have ASD its really easy to get overwelmed and frustrated when people explain somthing I cant wrap my head around, Ive always been that easy chord guy sliding all over the place 😅. Thanks Bernth.

So helpful! Whenever I'm write solos and melodies I always use only one scale box. Thanks!
