#268 - Patreon Exclusive Mixing Masterclass

My friends, you voted for another home recording lesson on the wishlist - so I recorded a full 26-minute mixing masterclass for you that features my current workflow :)

And since I want to make this extra special, we will mix an exciting song collab with Charles Berthoud today! This is the first time anyone hears about this - we made a song and 2 epic music videos together and 'Bloodstream' will be out on April 15th :) Until then, I hope you enjoy this sneak-peak and that it will help you with your home recording and mixing/mastering projects!

Here's a Google Drive link for the full masterclass: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1Ehq0IkAAZuZ9l-dbIYmO2pcx3RHrhfz6?usp=sharing

And here's a Dropbox link in case Google Drive doesn't work for you: https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fo/r5mhi15ii70jmd3q6p23g/h?dl=0&rlkey=j348yf5nihy8blmiv98hskmkf

Have fun getting creative and have an amazing weekend my friends!

Hi Bernth, is this specific to Cubase or can we follow along in Logic or Ableton?

Hi folks, anyone knows how to cut off/boost frequencies in Ableton Live like Bernth does in Cubase?

Glad to see I am not the only one that drags the whole project to start at bar 3 instead of the project start 😂

thank you Bernth, these tutorials are great. the guitarpro one convinced me to buy guitarpro, and it has been a great addition to my practice routine. thanks

Tip when recording stuff with tempo/time signature changes in cubase: If you're using guitar pro for tabbing your music, just export the tabs as midi and import the midi file into a new (!) cubase project. Then you'll have your tempo and time signature track right away.

What programs and recording hardware do you use?

How killer is this!!
