My Guitars are tuned in D standard, because my favorite songs i am play along to, got those tuning. For practice i change the GP file tuning. But the option to transpose the tuning what is possible at the john petrucci plugin for example would be great. Otherwise keep things simple. Standard effects like reverb, chorus and delay are important i think. The Neural DSP plugins are nearly perfect, only if you could choose what you want in one plugin and buy it could be better:)

Hallo Bernth, das klingt nach der "Eierlegenden Wollmilchsau" :-D. For all users: I'm using atm ML Sound LAB, AmpliTube 5, GigPerformer (Brainworx). I really like your ideas especially the combination of a metronome, timesignatures and I would really love this to be in your plugin. A realtime note and chord notation would be fantastic and a recording function. Multiple mic-positions and a possibility to mix a few cabinets and mics would be awesome. A really great noisegate (I'm using the Klevgrand Brusfri) and maybe a ssl console (EQ, Comp) in the standalone... ok I think I have everything mentioned ;-)

I would recommend: Pedal section: over drive, noise gate pedal at start of chain in front of the amp Amp section: clean, rhythymn, and lead Load/ Save: a drop down at the top so you can load/save/ and recall presets also a small selection of the presets you would like (Factory) Effects section: delay, chorus, eq, and phaser routed through the effects loop of the amp Cabinet IR section: with preinstalled cabs that Bernth uses and at least 3 different mics to choose from with placement adjustment and a drop down to load in your own irs a blend feature to blend two cabs would also be nice Midi: A Midi learn button so you can connect your midi foot pedal to it Sounds like a lot but this day and age with amp sims these are the features people have come to expect and grown accustomed to. Besides if it is to have your name on it, why not make it the best it can be?

Sounds more like everyone is describing a full blown app not just a amp plugin. I have and love most everything about the Positive Grid Elite everything package, Bias FX2, Amp, Pedal. It's a big bit of impressive software, but I still need to use other apps like Transcribe, Tux Guitar to practice. I'm sure this will sound and be awesome but maybe more a amp than a app.

stacked Eq sections but not the vertical like a curve eq like fab filter and 2 of them, Ive been studying eq curves from nail the mix guitars and they ten to cut 180 and boost 15k but like its such a big cut and boost the 20 db isn't enough so multiple eq, Then like have choice on amp low end and amp high end, so if I want the low end purr of a bognar, then high end mid saturation of a Diezel VH 4 , somehow make that happen?

Something I'm missing in most plugins are good sounding stock IR packs and good, working IR loader for using third-parties IRs like the ones from Spectre Sounds Studios or from KohleKeller studios. This was always bugging me that a pretty good setting would sound like a chisel grinding a wet wood because of poor quality IRs

Maybe some settings that use the unique sounds you have used in videos. As weird as it is to have water setting, Rubberband, firecracker etc. It would at least be unique. Then dial in your own tones that you normally use for your cleans, distortion, in between. It just seems like it would have your own touch. Otherwise it will just be another like the 100s of other amps out there. Making something no one else has made and at the same time create sounds other amps aren't already making.

Assuming this is NDSP, my biggest issue with their plugins is that since the Petrucci there really hasn’t been anything that’s compelling enough to justify €130+ on a new plugin. It at least added some really unique features like the double track, room mics, transposer, metronome and a full range of workable amps from nylon to high gain, but it also essentially made the majority of their other amp sims useless because it did exactly what they could plus more. I now own 7 NDSP plugins but only use the Petrucci or Cory Wong. The NDSP formula seems to just be a use the same compressor, 1-2 drive pedals, 3 amp channels that are EQed slightly different than another plugin, the same mic options and possibly same IRs for the cab sim, the same 9-band EQ, and then the exact same delay, reverb, and chorus effects. Rabea’s synth thing was cool but you can also just get better synth plugins and route your signal through those. I think there just needs to be some more uniqueness to the plugin. Maybe pull in some crazy effects that aren’t available in most of their other plugins: stereo chorus, an envelope filter like the EHX Riddle, stereo tremolo, more styles of reverb (plate, hall, spring, etc), multi-track looper, bitcrusher/tape decay like the Chase Bliss Generation Loss, pad reverb like the OBNE Dark Star. Unique cabs/IRs with different mics.

I love the practice oriented approach and I love your ideas, they perfectly match my own practice routine :-D I would add some features to them though: - Metronome: Include the ability to program/select basic drums, e.g. Hi-Hat, Kick and Snare only. --> Use case: I program basic rhythm patterns with accents into GuitarPro, e.g. 16th tripplets with a Hi-Hat + accenting the first and last note with a kick to practice Sweep Picking with arpeggios etc., you know what I mean? - Theory/Eartraining: Include the generation of scales for the Ionic and Harmonic Minor System with the ability to point out the 1st, 3rd and 5th tone of every Interval within the scale which would lead one to possible Chord progressions and Arpeggio Shapes. Soundwise i would go for the most iconic Bernth sounds, for me those would be: - A harmonizer that offers presets for the Lead Guitar sound from your Paganini caprice Interpretation and the Bass sound from Orbitoclast/Monolith - A compressor optimised to equal the clean guitar sound (tapping etc.) for playings like Waterworks (Tapping/Tapped Harmonics etc.) - A SHRED pedal emulation to push the mids Hope it helps :-)

A practice tool would be really awesome: definitely an advanced metronome with customizable sounds (I cannot bear those high pitched tik tiks), the possibility to speed up of an X percentage after N loops, a timer that tracks how much time I spend on an exercise every day (maybe with a simple .csv output?), a drum looper with odd signatures grooves included, some kind of backing track player with a bpm detector and the possibility to speed up/slow down. Something that I would love, but seems very difficult to implement would be "take a MIDI file, listen to me playing it and tell me what I'm getting wrong".

Honestly a plug in that is a practice tool would be amazing but one thing I feel I and from what I see a lot of other people don't have is a mathrocky kind of clean tone kind of plug in I have quite a few neural DSPs and some are close but like one I'd record with, sounds generic but it's honestly such a desirable tone

Ooo nice! It definitely needs a really good clean amp that can be adjusted to do edge of break up along with your crunch and heavy tones. A good compressor with ratio, threshold, level, and attack control. Tremolo, chorus, pitch shifter for drop tunings, reverb with plate, spring, and digital settings, dual-delay with a fibonacci setting

Die meisten PlugInAmps sind den analogen Pendants nachempfunden,das bedeutet Klangcharakter ist so oder so ähnlich wie das Analogorginal, ich zB bin auf der Suche nach nem Amp der zB die Verzerrfrequenz stimmbar hätte im Q-Faktor und Frequenz und logischerweise auch die Intensität sollte einstellbar sein. Ich sag dazu ich bin jemand mit sog. gefährlichem Halbwissen also kann es auch sein Blödsinn geredet zu haben aber das ist es was mir bei vielen Amps gefehlt hat , Grundsätzlich fände ich es cool direkt am Amp soviel „Zerre“ zu haben das ein extra Pedal überflüssig wäre n bisschen Hall dazu und es wäre ideal

In stand-alone mode: - The ability to add bass and drum loops would be very cool for practicing. In midi format of course. - The possibility of recording guitar/bass/...also tracks - Some theory tools you have the secret to... - A tempo detector - A metronome with time signature - A tuner with different mode (open D, open C, 7 strings ...)

I would love everything in one plugin but i got find the right amp to use first. I've tried the ROOTS amp but it is a little wonky the free version that is. i'm sure the paid one is fine though. If you can recommend a free amp online that sounds good and has distortion reverb and chorus affects i would appreciate it.

First and foremost CONGRATULATIONS!!! Sooo well deserved. Below a few ideas: -10 band equalizer -Parametric equalizer -Probably adding a virtual version of your Shred KHDK OD pedal. Think of Kerry King's JCM 800 2203 KK Beast mode button where you can add your pedal with the press of a button. -Emulating cabs you mostly use. If I think of anything else, I'll add some more thoughts. All the best!!!

I feel like we need to commit to an approach before anything else. Will it be high gain? Will it be edge of break up? Will be a versatile plugin capable of many things but not necessarily specialising in one area? Once we have committed then we can work backwards and figure out the nuances.
