Frankly it was bizarre and disgusting. Assad is a FAR better man than Xi. Xi is a truly evil dictator, and hes regime is the most murderous in the world. So looking to Xi for validation for a missile strike supposedly due to a war crime that Xi would have NO problem with, is stupid, bizarre and darkly humorous.
