2022-07-20 23:33:26 +0000 UTCI’ve been finding that a good guitar tone is just as important as technique. A good tone play like a hot knife through butter as well as sound good…but it takes time to find when your an old analog guy swimming in a sea of digital noise. My tone, not surprisingly, is always in a state of flux as I consistently seek “better.” I use a BOSS GT100 processor hooked directly to my mixer…no amp. This is the first time I’ve seen tone being considered at all as an option. I look forward to seeing something more about this in the future.

I’m constantly doing a different lesson each time I sit down and practice to where I finally get the fingering down but I’ll swap to a different lesson the next time I sit down to practice. Another problem I’m having is trying to translate what I’m practicing into my own bands songs lead wise.
