In case you missed it, I got to join Tool on stage for a performance this week - so naturally, there were a lot of questions and messages in my inbox about this, so I wanted to make this in-depth video about solo composition, improvisation, and session gigs in general!
I hope this helps both your guitar solos, improvised takes, and also your overall career in case you'd like to audition for a band or guest performance in the future!

One reason I recently became a patron is I really appreciate your comfort with you abilities, obviously anyone who tool will chose to come on stage and shred is at the very least respectable, but bringing the solo here and contextualizing with really good advice such as not playing above or below your ability which most people wouldn’t ever answer honestly (instead they would swear it was so painfully easy for them, way below 50% obviously!). Anyway this characteristic shows through in a lot of your lessons and it makes me more inclined to believe things you say and value your opinion when you offer it. It’s a subtle point but I would imagine plays a part in your success building trust from your viewers.
