Added 2022-05-02 15:01:03 +0000 UTCHey friends, time to decide on the video topics for this month, can't wait to check out the results :) I thought it's a great idea to keep it more 'open' this month for a change, to see what you would all like to see most on the platform this month - hope you all have an amazing week!!

Ya see???!!! Excellent! Balance. Plus by creating songs, you learn even more about the techniques, how to apply them and be creative. :D Cheers!

2022-05-04 18:26:16 +0000 UTCNo worries buddy. I get it. Gotta do what people want. I realize my goals are my own. I just appreciate how you go about presenting the info in your videos. Creating songs is just more important to me, whilst using your technique lessons.

2022-05-04 10:08:12 +0000 UTCI'd also be very, very happy to work on more creative stuff on the channel... but I also want to make the community as happy as possible, so let's see how it turns out this month :)

2022-05-03 04:41:29 +0000 UTCI hear ya. I still do my daily practice routine with exercises, but I like to spend more time challenging myself on composing and creating rather than hrs. of a metronome. I've done that for many years and wish I spent more time learning theory and composition. Not saying exercises aren't needed. I just get more enjoyment out of writing complete songs rather than noodling.

2022-05-02 18:20:33 +0000 UTCI'm with you. But my level is too low and still need a lot of excercises.

2022-05-02 18:07:52 +0000 UTCI honestly don't know why I vote anymore. Ha. I'm the minority of guitarists who'd rather create more songs than to just be an exercise pattern player. I appreciate all the challenges of learning techniques and achieving goals, but to me it seems worthless if you can't apply them to actual songs. That being said I look forward to more sweep pickings and licks that I'll learn and rarely use.

2022-05-02 16:10:15 +0000 UTCA lesson on improvisation couldn't come sooner hehe. I'm currently very focused on improvisation and just "jamming along" to stuff, but still find myself using familiar licks - even when trying to avoid them. π€£
