You can't have precise sweeping if your picking or rhythm sucks, though. Believe me, haha. Sweeping is a tool, like any other - you can't use it for everything, but if it's the only tool in your toolbox it's easy to overuse. :)

2021-07-16 10:23:29 +0000 UTCUgh. Enough with the sweep picking! Yes they're fun, but they're like icing on a cake. If the cake is sloppy, icing just covers the mess. Ps. the cake is your picking, rhythm and song writing. Much more important. If you can write a good song, you don't even need the sweeps. And now ends my rant. Cheers!

2021-07-01 16:36:37 +0000 UTCA stem is basically a single track of audio, for instance left guitar, right guitar, lead 1, etc. A song is made up of multiple stems / tracks, and mixing is done on a per stem/track basis (more or less). There's often *a lot* of tracks per song. :)
