I have been planning to do more interviews on China Uncensored—with experts, officials, and other people who have reasonably intelligent things to say.
This interview with Jamie Metzl ran really long. It was about 25 minutes, and in cutting it down, it was like: "Should I keep the funny parts, or the content-rich parts?" Obviously, this interview, as edited, was not funny. For example, I cut out the part where we talked about him meeting Wen Jiabao and the Dalai Lama (separately).
What do you think? Let's say I could choose only one: Funny vs. Depth of Content. What's your preference?
