Welcome to the second lesson for this week! Today we check out an amazing theory concept that will improve all your guitar solo skills (improvisation, arrangement, transcription, writing,...) and it was a big game-changer for me in the beginning.
You will get a completely different understanding of the fretboard by following this step-by-step formula (chord - triad arpeggio - 7th arpeggio - scale) and you can break out of your chords for melodies/shred licks easily that way :) Of course, this is also extremely helpful when you're improvising over difficult chord changes.
This is just the first step of mastering this theory concept but it serves as a great starting point! Let me know if we should dive deeper in the lesson votings for next month :)
I only uploaded the backing track in one tempo since you can do it on your own and only need a metronome - I suggest to include this in your practice routine from now on!
