#73: Special Bonus Lesson | Horizontal Legato Shredding!

With this lesson I'd like to say thank you to everyone in the community - it will only be available here since it contains one of my favorite licks ever right now :) So this is an exclusive episode just for you!

I felt like I had to do something special since your support allows me to keep releasing lessons and online courses, all my other jobs (gigs, studio jobs and sadly even more) have been canceled or rescheduled due to the Corona crisis. So it would not be possible right now to keep the upload schedule without you guys!

For this lick, we apply the octave trick from yesterday in a more practical way and combine sliding, odd note grouping and legato (hammer-ons and pull-offs) for a very challenging but unique sound. It's a bit difficult but you can apply the general idea behind it to any style of music! Hope you have fun with it, don't forget to download the files below - stay safe & healthy!

I am still a newby here. Am always confused when Bernth sais/writes "what we discussed yesterday", like in the description here. How can one trace back what was the "octave trick from yesterday"?

I am so late to the party here, Bernth my guy you're a wizard on that guitar thanks for all the tips!

I love this concept. It's not much more difficult than using boxes, but sounds and feels much less confined.
