Good evening my friends, Patreon did some maintenance work and scheduled posts did not work correctly for a while - so this lesson was not released on time! Since it's very important I'd like to share it now :)
Remember the 5 note grouping from the pentatonic scale lesson? This system can also be adapted to 3 note per strings licks and heptatonic scales. Here we have 2 more notes we can work with and I chose a group of 7 for this example!
We need the economy picking technique to succeed with this lick here, make sure to check out the lesson I recorded on that in case you missed it :) When we work with groups of 7 we get some really cool accents since we are missing that one 16th note that would turn this into a 'regular' pattern. That can be challenging at first but this lick is a great starting point for more advanced and creative shredding.
