#53: Easy Chord Hacks | Learn The Minor Triad Trick Now!

It's finally time for the next lesson - before we get to the shredding again it's time to also study the minor triads across the neck! Believe me, this skill is incredibly important when it comes to fretboard visualization and it will open your mind to tons of creative possibilities!

This time we combine the minor triads with the major triads from last week and check out another cool practical example. As always you can find the tabs, guitar pro files and a practice backing track below!

Starting next week we will focus heavily on technique again - can't wait to share these videos with you, I think you will like them a lot :)

Bernth, another fantastic and helpful lesson. Thank you for your earlier reply showing me where/how to find this lesson on Patreon! Danke!

Hey Alex, thanks for the input, you're right - it's always a good idea to focus on practicing your chords! That's very often ignored since we work on our scales/arpeggios so much :)

Hi, Bernth. The lessons with chord hacks are awesome. But do you plan to make a lesson where minor and major chords will be used in some sort of combination or something like this. May be some chord progression lesson for practicing minor and major chords all together.

Great to hear that the lessons are helping :) Internalizing the triads was an absolute game-changer for me personally, happy to pass on that helpful knowledge!

These lessons are really freeing me up across the fret board with chord changes.

Hey David, thanks for the feedback! Yes, we will tackle extended chords for sure - now that we got the triads down it will be so much easier to construct them :) We really just need to add the major or minor seventh in all positions and then work with the 9th, 11th or 13th and their alterations! I'm also quite happy with the guitar, it was worth the 10 year treasure hunt for sure (I think only around 200 were made)

I started practicing these chords some time before so your videos about major and minor triads are very helpful for me. It would be great if you’ll create lesson about extended chords too. P.S.: Your guitar is super beautiful, every time I’m staring at it 🙂
