Quick Lick 3 - Flamenco Arpeggios
Added 2019-07-31 05:52:45 +0000 UTCGood morning my friends! Today I'd like to share another lick with you, I wanted to try out how arpeggios sound over the classic Flamenco chord progression (Am - G - F - E). Turns out it sounds pretty cool - so I recorded this little practical example :)
Of course you get the tabs again as an exclusive, including both the lead and rhythm part! Hope you have fun working with the flamenco sound a little bit, the arpeggios are challenging (those barred parts again!) but you can also work with the rhythm and arpeggiate the chords on your own! For these basic chords you only need the root, third (minor for minor chords, major for major chords) and perfect fifth for each of these 4 chords - that way you can freely write your own arpeggio sequence by splitting these 3 notes for every chord into different octaves by your own choice.
When I manage to record it this week (3 studio days & nights starting today) there will also be a longer lesson on how to build custom arpeggios that way if it's a bit unclear for you - of course you will be first to see it as always :)
