Two worlds collide with this topic - the complex system of the modes and the easier approach of the 5 note pentatonic scales. This opens up a new world of oppurtunities and I really don't hear this sound a lot! It's perfect for you if you enjoy playing pentatonic licks but also searching for something more exciting. This is also a great way to start with the modes if you have never worked with them.
