Choosing the right angle for your lick (depending if you end with an up- or downstroke) will help you massively to master big jumps, string skipping, odd note groupings and more. We also check out one other tip concerning the dynamic style of playing riffs and how to create multiple sounds with different picking techniques.

OK so I am a seasoned player that is just getting back into it and am noticing as a pick and get faster my pick seems to pick up (even on an open string) not all the notes or not all the same dynamic. Starting at the beginning here to hopefully find a way to fix this issue.
