Hello my friends, as promised it's time for another video lesson! This is the first lesson on a very specific chord - so far we only looked at scales and arpeggios and your knowledge of chords is also very important. Since this one includes a really cool practical example I wrote down both the rhythm guitars and arpeggio/lead part!

When you learn this one focus on the clean switching from the chords to the muted open E string, you don't want the notes to ring through here. As you can see I'm using my ringfinger to block the open E string from ringing too, so this riff only works when it's executed really clean :)

Also take your time to analyze the arpeggios - I'm working with the notes in those special minor 9 chords here, I did not have a shape in mind (or learned one from anywhere), I just built my own arpeggios by knowing the theory behind the rhythm section. That is the skill we are training here a lot, hope this helps you with further understanding this approach!
