Lick Of The Day #10 - Guitar Slapping

This time I show you one of my favorite exotic guitar techniques - slapping is usually only used by bass players, us guitarists can get in on the fun too though. To master this percussive technique you have to learn 3 individual motions: the slap, the pop and a deadnote you create with your left hand. Combining those 3 sounds and forming different rhythmic patterns with them is a lot of fun, this is just one of many practical examples you could work on.
You don't need to use a lot of force when you're slapping on guitar so watch out for your fingers - don't hurt them by overdoing it! In the end of the riff I also applied some double tapping, another crazy technique we should look into a bit later here.
