Lick Of The Day #9 - 8 Finger Tapping
Added 2019-01-26 15:20:30 +0000 UTCTime for yet another new technical approach for licks - using more than one finger for tapping! As we already discussed with the pentatonic tapping lick, it get's really interesting when you combine different scales and intervals beyond the stretching capabilities of your left hand. When you tap with more than one finger you will come up with some very cool ideas and this is just one example.
I was working with different intervals (fifth, fourths, major thirds,...) within the A major scale here and used all of my fingers of the right hand to tap - except for the thumb of course. Don't be frustrated with the tapping abilities of your ringfinger and pinky finger in the beginning, if you practice this frequently they will get just as strong as your other tapping fingers!
