Lick Of The Day #7 - Tapping Pentatonic
Added 2019-01-26 15:08:21 +0000 UTCTime to check out one of your favorites - the tapping pentatonic lick! I love to use tapping to combine different scale positions or arpeggios. You are not bound by the stretching abilities of your left hand anymore and can come up with some really crazy combinations. Tapping has gotten a bit of a bad reputation because it is always associated with unispired patterns on just one string but by working with it like this you will sound really unique!
We're tapping in the C minor pentatonic here and combine 2 different pentatonic shapes. This works like a charm, you just think of one shape with your left hand and the other shape with your right hand. I added the blue note to give this one a bit of a bluesy sound, hope you enjoy it!
