Writing Plans/SC Schedule Heads Up.

Ahoy. I wanted to make a separate post for those of you who like these sorts of things and to warn you ahead of time so you can freely choose if you're alright with this or not.

I spoke about it once before, but I lasted quite a bit longer at this pace than I anticipated. I plan on doing at the very least two more weeks of 5 chapters weekly for SC, and then I'll be slowing down to 3. It's not ideal for you, I understand, but it is a sustainable path for me. I wanted to give you guys a heads-up ahead of time, as that is only fair.

I desperately need to build a backlog to guarantee quality and prevent another major rewrite from occurring. (it almost burned me out last time). I want to do that for both stories so that I can also take a week off from writing without breaking stride at some point this summer. I feel like I need to do that just for the sake of my brain and mental health in general.

I'll be honest, while posting 8 chapters a week is quite a bit, it's not as hard as it was when I first started writing. The major hurdle I have is the inconsistency of my current jobs and the requirements they have as changes can be quite sudden/without warning and the fact that I've struggled with healthy sleep all my life. There are days when even a thousand words are hard to pen down, and then I have to push to catch up.

Writing separate stories also helps in this regard as they are quite different and it feels like doing different activities. Some days one is easier to write than the other, and vice-versa. So, after I push for backlogs I'll be focusing on a third story. I won't stop until I can make a living off of writing, so that's a given.

I'll try to add an extra chapter here and there too, for both stories (that's been a long time coming for TFF, forgive me guys), once I enjoy some rest, and I'll also post early concept chapters (I did once but I deleted it since it was a very rough early version) of other stories. I've started two different ones, apart from TFF and SC.

One is a Xianxia in which I plan to follow the life of a hopeful child who is chosen to be a cultivator and how his realities shatter, and he is forced to rise through the merciless world where righteous and demonic are oftentimes interchangeable. Still haven't decided on the gimmick, but I wanted something different like light or sun.

The other one is a Dungeon Apocalypse in the modern world kind of deal with a female MC I'm still struggling with. I want to make it quite unique despite how it may sound. Then again, it might be them, it might be a third one I decide on. I have 19 folders of ideas and they are growing.

Anyway, that's it for now. I hope you're all safe and healthy. Your support past and present (and hopefully future) means the world to me.

Thank you.

Hi! Well, I did share only a little bit but the way the Dungeon one works will be quite expansive, and adding the additional element of cultivation feels like overcomplicating things, especially with the 'current' state of the System I have with a few classes, etc. Plus, I wanted something reminiscent (at least a little) bit of Azanith Healer (I only reached chapter 300 or so back when I read it, as there were no more lol. Haven't been back since). As for the other one, I haven't read classic xianxia in a long while but I used to read a lot of it and it feel easy to write it strangely. I want to fall on some cliches and twist them in my own way while retaining the spirit of it all. I won't do the Chinese names and stuff, since that sounds forced. And I want to explore different characters. The two MCs I have planned are very different from one another, one being a naive child about to meet the world, and the other... still questionable. The way I first had her made her into a villain lol. Might go the stoic route. Ah, I'll keep brainstorming and I'll see what happens.

Hi ,why not combine the two ideas for the third story. There are always solo MC Stories, but I never read of a two siblings struggling together? Why not Xianxia + a dungeon apocalypse, the alien 👾 monks from space come to earth to drain and benefit from humanities emotions? Now the different "gods "from the earth's major religions compete for superiority...
