This was the SFW Monthly file winner for February! Sunshine Rey and Grumpy Ben.

Ben had been head over heels for Rey since he could remember, the first day she came to class he was blinded by her smile and something stirred within him. However, it never grew into anything, he had kept his distance, knowing he was the reason of many rumors in the school and that no one in their sane mind would befriend him. Except for Poe, but he was crazy and befriend everyone in school, he was crazy to the point of always insisting him to ask Rey out, that he could have a chance.

Crazy indeed. He followed his gut and never did, Rey was better off being as far as possible form him... until today.

Never in his wildest dreams did he imagine Rey texting him, establishing a conversation and a month later asking him out to go to the State fair to "hang out"... He was no longer a high schooler, and knew when a date was a date, right? Ok, maybe he was a bit rusty.

When he arrived to the agreed spot and saw her, he was struck again. She was beautiful as ever, even more so if it was possible. Maybe, maybe today was his chance.

As the night went on, they visited all kinds of rides, his favorite being the roller-coaster because Rey held onto him for her life. Oh yeah, definitely his favorite, his favorite right after the photo boot. She wanted to take silly pictures, but that was were his resolve finally set. He knew there was a spark, every time they touched or looked at each other, they lingered.

So after the confusion of the first picture dissipated, it was now or never.
