OG/Collab - Junk Workshop - Plastic coins

One of the most important concepts of this project was economy and commerce. With society still in the process of regaining a sense of stability and structure, one of the first things that needs to be established is a way of surviving and acquiring goods, which of course leads people to barter. While it's an easy solution, it is not sustainable for growing communities, specially ones that are using the past as reference.
How so? Well, the idea was that people would need "set values" to be able to barter in a convenient rate, but as communities grow that set value would vary depending of work, availability and accessibility. Basically, offer and demand. If not moderated that could lead to discrepancies and abuse, so we decided that society would need a streamlined set value of things, henceforth, a coinage system.
Since plastic is one of the most durable materials and will most definitely outlive us AND the workshop is based on conceptualizing a world that is full of junk, we predicted that new coins would be made from easy available and valuable materials, HDPE being the one with the best qualities!.
