Now I have a headcanon for this: Ben begins flirting with Rey as the semester goes but she does all to avoid him, thinking "he's like that with every girl". That is until her best friend Finn tells her how he's quiet and gloomy in every other class she's not in.
Also, he begins failing in his classses on purpose and asks her to be his tutor ;v, but he's secretly an A+ student.
