Ranma December Poll

Yo.  Barely have an hour right now to get this up before I am expected at the Family Gathering™.  Stayed up all night last night, got around 7,000 done for Journey… yay… no, but seriously, righting the fic is fun, all-nighters are not. Seriously, give me back my introvert lifestyle!

Whining aside, I will be posting a chapter of Heroes and King of Champions for this month for my readers on fanfic and AO3 late tonight.  I will be posting Journey 2 over on fanfic in December when Hiryo and I go through it, along with FILFy when I can Grammarly it.  I’ve noticed there’re no reviews for the latest chapter yet…

Anyway, this is the Ranma poll.  The next will be the Patron only poll.

Effect of a Horse and a Dragon – Ranma/Mass Effect Crossover: Ranma and Garrus push higher into Peak 15’s interior, running into a few scattered Geth but nothing too serious, while Tali finds herself fighting for her life against a few, but well-coordinated Geth platforms, her ability to provide overwatch becoming compromised.  This lets Saren and the Geth Prime to instigate a final ambush.  This ambush comes in various stages, with two of them surprising both Ranma and Garrus, leaving both badly wounded, but still fighting.  Saren attempts to keep the range open, while Ranma tries to push through the agony wracking his body, only for the battle to end in a way unlooked for. After, with all the scientists gathered together and Saren locked up in a block of ice, some questions are asked, and a corrupting piece of metal discovered, before A furious Ranma melts it down to slag.  Garrus calls in help and heads to the Citadel with the corrupt Saren in tow and a group of familiar Asari commandoes to help, while Ranma and Tali have a brief moment, before needing to think about the morality of various concepts.  Elsewhere, a giant ship becomes aware that a chaotic factor has been injected into his plans, and Herb and Wrex run into a series of annoyances and actual problems in the search for history.

Stallion of the Line – One Piece/Ranma crossover:  Robin and Vivi contemplate a very bizarre, yet quite revealing conversation, before ultimately deciding it doesn’t eally matter all that much.  Vivi’s new accessory is mentioned before, thankfully for Sanji’s sanity, the day is interrupted by a band of particularly stupid mermen pirates.  Dealing with them takes no time at all, and the Everlasting Resolve is met by a royal escort, Camie and Jinbe.  The group split up, with Franky, Sanji and Robin heading off on their own reasons for going to Merman Island, while Luffy is forced at sand-dagger point to be diplomatic as they meet with the local royals.  A series of issues are brought up, including a certain axe-throwing ‘romantic’ during which Vivi gets very angry, Luffy becomes annoyed and a king is forced to realize being proactive is a good thing.  Elsewhere, Hody Jones debates, and Sanji runs into a gorgeous lady, only to realize too late that flirting can indeed get him over his head.  While Vivi takes her fellow princess on an outing, Luffy and Robin have a romantic moment before Franky is roped into some trouble. A confrontation unlooked-for occurs, and a wager made for the island’s future while local minnows attempt to act like sharks, not realizing how vast the world truly is until far too late.

If it’s got a chance, I will vote for Effect, I think, as I would love to finish the Noveria adventure, although not as much as I would like to get back into Bhaalson. I’ve been on an Audible fantasy kick recently.

As an aside, anyone know any good Wheel of Time fics?  I’ve found Dragonbind: The Great Hunt by AmateurDullahan over on Ao3, and it is pretty good.  Something I can listen to in the background is always nice.

Effect will also be getting the ½  carry-over effect since they were updated in September of 518.
