I loved this chapter. While the beginning of the chapter was slow I loved the moment when Garp woke up during Mei's (I love the nickname of Mei-day for her) rant and his thoughts as it just proves that there is a mind behind that laughing exterior. I was honestly expecting that the chapter was going to end with Garp confronting Izuku at the minimum or all of the displaced teams to get the truth out of them. Especially after this comment from Izuku, "Either by swimming or jumping, sir, although I don’t think I can jump the entire way…", as there is no way Roland didn't remember and report it to Garp. It has also been great to read how the teens are learning the navel skills that they need to work and stay together on a ship. Jirou and Momo seem as if they're becoming the navigators. Melissa would be the chief gunnery. Tsu as the medic. Mei the shipwright. Tenya Master at Arms. Kirishima the first mate. Izuku the captain. I'm also really glad that they're already getting an introduction into the different types of haki and the rokushiki. I imagine that all of the ladies will probably learn the ability to sense things around them while Kirishima and Tenya will learn to armour themselves better. And Izuku, well there's a reason I believe he is Garp's protege more than anyone else, with the speech and declaration to Melissa and his intent and desires Izuku is someone I see having the ability to unlock all of the different types of Haki. I'm glad to see that the pairings for the relationships are starting to form especially between Izuku/Melissa and Jirou/Momo. I am a little curious how or if you're still planning to have Jirou and Momo be in a relationship with Izuku. Regardless I'm glad that we're not going to see them pining for one another and we can see how they'll grow as people. I loved the end of the battle and seeing how Izuku took charge. While there were more people that were senior then him and should have taken command just seeing the way that he so easily took command and had everyone listening to him shows that when they do eventually make their way to Marineford that Izuku might undergo officers training.

The whole naval battle sequence was awesome, but also kind of hard to keep track of everything happening, so I can only imagine how hard it was to write! Really captured that whole "chaos of the battlefield" vibe. Also that excellent feeling of ships finally starting to set sail! Great chapter, loved it all round.
