October Ranma Poll Results

Good afternoon, ladies and Gentlemen.

Sitrep on FILFy – finished two of the full fight scenes, the outside one and the Yubelluna led one – which I had to basically rewrite, as I wsn’t showing how dangerous Cao-Cao really is. The couple vs couple fight is still kicking my ass. I think I’ve got Nefertiti’s combat style and abilities down, but Yasaka’s and Akhenaten’s aren’t good. Harry’s are also all over the place. Ugh. Considering this fight is like, the penultimate fight of the side plot I’ve created in this fic, I really want it to go off well.

Anyway, it’s a day late, but the results of the Ranma poll is:

THE POWER OF CARRY OVER COMPELS YOU!!! Hah.

While Journey Gone Astray drew in a lot of interest (thanks all, I think it will be a fun fic once it starts winning more often), the 1,254 votes Stallion of the Line brought in from the carry over was too much. Stallion won with a total of 2,580 against…. 2,566. WOW. Without the carry over, this wouldn’t have even been CLOSE.

There you have it folks. Work on Stallion will start today. I will shoot to finish it by Saturday and send it off to my editors. At that point, I will switch to the Patron Only Poll winner.

Next month, the Ranma poll will be between Effect of a Horse and a Dragon and Journey Gone Astray, with Journey getting the carry-over of ¼ of it’s votes this month = 641.
