Ranma Only Poll July2025

And this is the Ranma poll for July. The choices are:

Stallion of the Line – Ranma/One Piece crossover: After a few days on Amazon Lily, Raffy leaves once more in the company of Sanji, Franky, Vivi, Sandersonia and Robin, almost instantly running into problems with both his cook and his ship.  Luckily, those problems don’t slow the trip, and they arrive at Shabondy prior to their heading to Mermaid Island without issue.  Instead, they find issues waiting for them in the form of the Marine’s new local commander and Jewelry Bonney.  A chance to talk goes out the window, and Luffy is faced with a problem he created, until a solution arrives unlooked for by both him and Bonney.  The marines once more attempt to make trouble, but fail to really register before the Everlasting Resolve is ready for it’s second underwater adventure.  The group continue on to Fishman Island, where they instantly run into still further pirate-type problems, much to the quick chagrin of said interlopers.  Meeting with the king, Jinbe and their family is interrupted by flying axes, and Vivi becomes angry while Luffy angers the locals, before offering a solution to their problem. It turns out that Kenbunshoku is a great skill to use when you’re hunting someone.   However, even as Robin and Luffy have a moment while exploring history, other problems arrive to cause headaches for Luffy and Jinbe alike.

The Effect of a Horse and a Dragon - Mass Effect/Ranma crossover: Ranma style shenanigans ensue as the trio of Ranma, Tali and Garrus go after the man who orchestrated the latest attack on them. He turns out to be a local for Cerberus, who is playing some 3-D chess in terms of their goals on Noveria. A asari spy attempts to recruit the group only to have a close encounter of the shotgun kind.  The next day, it is a local working for Binary Helix who has a close encounter of the fist kind for his companies insult to Japan and all Asia. However, this allows the group to learn about a lab on the planet, which in turn becomes their chief target. A train ride out to the lab in question ends in gunfire, forcing Tali to admit that while looking at snow is nice, being in it isn’t so cool, even if it makes for a romantic moment.  The Geth prove to be tougher in large groups and out in the open, forcing Ranma to bring his A game which allows the trio to continue, while at the lab, a inspecting Spectre lays out a trap.

Hmm… I don’t know what I will put my votes on.  I think I MIGHT put my votes down on Effect, but I don’t know. We will see. I was also tempted to bring in Journey Gone Astray immediately, just to see how it would do.  But I did say I would wait until I’m able to finish another story.

I… I will say also that I will be putting GDWHOM on hold.  I did not have much fun writing that chapter, and I really should have.  I did note some people posted a few DxD stories to empower my muse, but I would rather use that to push FILFY to it’s completion.  After that… we will see.  That’s also why I’m not making any mention of a fourth fic this month.  If I have any time at the end of the month to devote to a fourth goal, I will start work on FILFy, so I can get it out easier in August. 

And if anyone is wondering about other fics that could be close enough to see the finish line for… I think that would be King of Champions and Magic of the Force.  I can at least see the end there.  That doesn’t mean they are close, but King of Champions is probably closer, in that it could be finished in under ten chapters.  Magic is probably under 15.  So neither are exactly close to completion, but that’s still better than any of the other fics I’m currently working on full time LOL.
