Good to know. I know that group has not had the chance to interact with a port and to see bounty posters so I was wondering if we would see any of the notable beginning pirates from the different blues. Moreover, because the story was starting in the Grand Line it would have been interesting to see at what point a pirate's poster would be passed around. Though when they get to a bounty board I wonder how Izuku will react if he sees a picture of Nico Robin. I might have missed the fact that you upped the ages of the characters from MHA so that is good to know. Knowing that everyone from MHA is actually 17 does actually remove most of the concerns that I had when it came to the pairings of the story with Robin. Moreover, it was not really about the age that bothered me it was the maturity and mentality of the characters that would have been the limiting factor for me. Knowing that people who wanted to become heroes are going to be trained by the 'Hero of the Marines' just makes sense to me. I hope that while hiding in Garp's shadow the MHA characters can grow strong enough and build enough respect and renown that when abilities come to light that they can shrug off things because I would expect some difficulties if Momo and Shoto were sent to Vegapunk for experimentation. The group should also stay as far away as possible from the Tenryūbito as possible. I wonder if starting as trainee marines in the Grand Line vs. one of the blues changes what they learn or how they learn. Except for Mei and Melissa I suspect that the hero students are going to excel when it comes to the physical portion but struggle with general knowledge at first. I wonder if the MHA characters will have an encounter with Whitebeard or Shanks? I would be interested in that meeting for the simple fact that they would probably be able to sense the difference in the characters but it would also be interesting to see how they would react knowing that there are pirates that behave more like mercenaries or military leaders and not just brutes and monsters like Kaido.

2025-03-01 02:49:35 +0000 UTCFirst this is around four years before Luffy leaves Fuchsia. I will make that clear when Garp appears, something i've been very upfront about will occur shortly before this. That means, it's before Vivi disappears as a princess to try and infiltrate Baroque Works, and before the civil war really starts. That means that Robin's 23-24. Further, I have upped the ages of the UA students. So they are 17 now. I think I've shown that such an age difference doesn't really matter - Rias and Harry in FILFy, Akizu and Ranma in Game Changer, and Shaak and Ranma in Horse for the Force. I can make them work. Yes, Garp will take them under his wing. He has his ways. They will be trainees for a short few chapters, and marines for a few chapters, before things go tits up. From here on, the story will shift to more world exploration and introducing Garp and other canon One Piece characters. Robin too. The romance will still be there, but will be a side thing up until the initial couples form. Hope that answers all your questions, and thanks for the review. Love to see 'em.

2025-03-01 02:49:02 +0000 UTCAt the moment the biggest question I have for the series is where in the timeline it is. That will mean so much to the overall plot of the series. It will also mean a lot as to how likely a relationship with Robin could happen as if she is 28 years old as when she first debuts in the show I find it very unlikely that she would enter a relationship with Izuku who is probably half her age. The other big question that I have is whether or not the group will be able to unlock Haki? For most of the group I can see them unlocking Armament and Observation haki but Izuku might be the only one who could potentially unlock Conqueror’s considering what his dream is and that it is just as powerful as any Yonko’s. While I am looking forward to the group joining the Marines and I would love to follow a story centered around the marines as that never happens in any fanfiction that I have read. But my biggest worry is trying to hide quirks as devil fruit abilities especially when it comes to Shoto and Momo; trying to stay together as a group when they would more than likely be separated onto different ships, the groups inability to not stand out, and just how the marines can be. So, there is a part of me that thinks the group should not join the marines and should instead become bounty hunters that work with the marines but are sperate from them; which unfortunately still would be a fanfiction more like following pirates. But there are so many benefits to having a story that follows the marines and I think it would be a fantastic that it out ways any concerns that I would have. However, I do not think the group should join the marines in a traditional sense. I think if they tried to join as normal that they would instead be found out quickly and then they would be subjected to interrogation and then experimentation instead of treating them as heroes or marines. Which is why that instead of them becoming recruits that instead Garp makes an appearance on Rorca and takes them on as apprentices. He would have the clout to have them transferred to his ship and he is also the last person that would sell them out to the marines. Beyond that Garp does have some similarities to All Might which would be comforting to the group as they are still dealing with so much upheaval and trying to come to grips with everything after being at sea for almost 6 months. More than that he would be the best person to help the group grow into marines that could easily rise in the ranks of marines considering what he was able to do for Coby. Moreover, with Garp’s skillset he would be the best person to help Izuku to train his body to become strong enough the handle One for All considering their fighting styles would be so similar. Beyond the questions of the story and how things will develop in the future I am very glad that we are getting into the better part of the story. While I have enjoyed much of the character and relationship building between the friends and to see the budding romances it has also been a little slow. While the fights have been interesting and necessary to help break the characters of the more peaceful mindset that they had. But I am looking forward to the next chapter and seeing how the fight goes, how injured they will become, and who will come to the base after this attack. Plus, it will be interesting to see what happens when Robin has to report to Mr. Zero that she was not able to recruit Gasparde.

2025-02-28 01:11:48 +0000 UTCAudience with vegapunk is probably necessary pretty soon after joining the marines. No way they can hide all the weirdness ( shoto being nro 1). I can see mei and melissa becoming his apprentices or something.

2025-02-27 22:29:56 +0000 UTCFinally feels like this is moving along decently. Izuku's still mildly annoying but getting better, and the other characters are developing nicely. As is the...love quadrilateral? One extremely minor correction I spotted. You name Mei's Quirk as 'scope' at one point, when it's actually Zoom if I remember correctly.

2025-02-27 03:53:13 +0000 UTCI fucking love it!! The way they are starting to realize the dangers in the new world, and Tsu's heartbreaking moment when she truly realizes that they aren't going back!! And some of the past users just straight up leaving!! Such an amazing chapter!!
