Ranma February Poll Results

Howdy all.  UGHH>.. So, February has been a dick as per usual.  I was glad everyone seemed to like the revamped ATP chapter, and the MW and FILFy Teacher chapters I posted for the Super Bowl.  Thanks again go to me beta readers, Nad Destroyer, Hiryo, and Justlovereadin’ for their help.

However, back to February.  So, I lost the tenth to family and travel time.  Last time I don’t cough up an extra 12 bucks to upgrade my seats.  Then I lost all of Valentine’s Day/President’s Day weekend plus that Tuesday to family time. I don’t begrudge it, babysitting must happen to all uncles at some point, yet losing four days hurt.

So it took me until yesterday to finish Heroes.  And even then, it’s missing the big battle at the end.  Still lengthy, and with several necessary character progression/growth and some romance/ecchi moments, but still, annoying.  I sent it off to Primordial Vortex for his thoughts, and it will be up by the end of the month.

Anyway, that leaves me with less than a week to get a Ranma chapter up.  Which means that whichever wins, I’m going to have a lot of trouble getting the full chapters as outlined out.  Admittedly, Stallion more than Effect, but still.

Without further ado, let us see who won the poll.

So, the totals  were… with 63 votes over on fanfic and 548 from the carry over effect  Stallion of the Line brought in 2,649.

Effect of A Horse and a Dragon, bringing in 57 votes from over on fanfic, 400 votes from me earned…2653.

DAMMMNNNNNNN.  That is CLOSE.  Holy hell! Looking through the data, it’s clear if I had gotten the Heroes chapter out to Primordial Vortex in time for him to send it back and earn the 60 votes for editing the chapter (or even 30 for just looking it over and giving me his broad thoughts), that would have been enough. Tomon didn’t vote either… and even eight votes would have been enough.  DAMNNNN…  And Hiryo voted for Effect, along with several of my larger patrons, which tipped the scale along with my own votes to negate the carry over effect and then some! Woo.

So it will be Effect being updated by the end of the month. 

In other news, I have been INUNDATED with offers to commission fanfic art over on fanfic.  Like, a LOT.  So many it’s getting in the way of actual pms.  I am deleting them today and answering some PMs over there that were buried but it is highly unusual as it isn’t like one profile is spamming me.  And when I look at some of the profiles, they’ve been around for a year or more in most cases.  Weird. 

I also will… maybe need to look at my Patreon page again. More on that in March if a certain trend I have noticed builds up further.

I will be posting the Ranma fanfic poll tomorrow morning or later tonight.  It will run until the 3rd of March so I can get on the winner quickly.  That way Tomon will have time to look over Stallion when it almost inevitably wins, LOL.

Tomon has gotten back to me. He lives, his RL is demanding all of his time, but he was able to give me his thoughts about the latest DA chapter.  I will go over his email and address any changes/corrections he pointed out, but even having him look of a chapter for me in March might prove troublesome.
