February2025 Ranma Poll

And like I mentioned in the patron only poll results, here is the Ranma poll for February.

 I… hmm… Okay, so Tomon has not gotten back to me about Death’s Avenger from last month, or contacted me.  I will contact him today to see if he was sick or if RL ambushed him like the orcs did Isildur and his house in the Disaster of the Gladden Fields. Regardless, since this will be my last priority, and he needs more time than Hiryo or many of my other editors to look chapters over, I will be voting for Effect of a Horse and a Dragon in the poll.  It… might not matter, since Stallion will be getting the carry-over effect of 548, but hey, I can hope.  I really don’t want to post a Stallion chapter without Tomon at least being able to give it a look over.  And given how the past few chapters I’ve sent him have gone, I don’t see that happening.

Regardless, here is the poll:

Effect of a Horse and a Dragon – Ranma/Mass Effect Crossover: With the former slaves with them, Ranma and Tali stop in at Omega for more reasons than just because it’s on their way.  There, Ranma’s convinced to pick up a sniper and an ‘actual investigator’, after which he takes the time to make a new armor set. With Garrus in tow and a jealous John left behind, the next stop on the stomping tour is the corporate world of Noveria.  There, arrogant people and corruption get in the way, Ranma and Tali have a series of quasi-romantic moments, and Garrus rethinks his recent choices before Ranma gets attacked by the agents of Cerberus, brightening his day. A trend that continues when their investigation puts them on a private train heading to a research facility, only to be attacked by Geth the supersized versions.  Faced with problems too large for him to punch, Ranma gets creative, much to the chagrin of everyone who likes their immediate vicinity free of tornadoes.  The research facility proves to be the start of another minor mystery and a major discovery for the galaxy as a whole, wherein Ranma comes face to face with Saren, which does not go the way either hope.  Tali proves a decent diplomat in strange circumstances, and a new, albeit temporary crewmate is welcomed aboard the Trojan Horse before plans are made to head back and finally take ownership of Ranma and Herb’s ship.

Stallion of the Line – Ranma/One Piece crossover: After giving a Ninja Gull a heart attack, Luffy makes an appointment to talk to his boss in person.  A boss who is now having second thoughts about this entire thing, but goes forward anyway.  A certain mad scientist is very unhappy, although not as unhappy as one of his strangest experiments is looking currently, or Coby, as he learns that loyalty to the Marines and the World Government count far more than his own given word to those in power.  Gion is faced with a bit of consequences, but not over much as vengeance is declared on the three ‘bounty hunters’.  The ruler of the world rages in the dark, while the Revolutionaries dig in.  Vivi and Robin have a one-on-one talk, and a decision is made to remain on Kuja Island for some time to get the weaker members of the crew some training.  Jinbe and Luffy talk, before creating a series of exercise regimens for the rest, not knowing that a certain Yonko is looking to meet up and talk.  Following this, Jinbe leaves with a copy of Luffy’s flag for Fishman island, and Luffy and Vivi, armed with a Eternal Pose, head to Alabasta via air-Luffy.  This leaves Hancock in charge, although in a far better mood thanks to some romance time with Luffy and the sudden arrival of Shakky and Silvers Rayleigh.

This poll will last until I finish Heroes and send it off, so doesn’t have a set end date.  Hope you have all had a nice weekend guys and girls!
