Edited a bunch of typos out of my own comment. Autocorrect was not kind to it...

2025-02-02 04:09:56 +0000 UTC"A more serious attack came in a moment later, with around ninety writers riding in from the rear, having reformed there into a single mass." That is the most glorious typo I've seen in years. For just an instant, when I read it, I pictured all my least favorite authors having been Isekaied into the doomed army. They mounted up, thinking this was their protagonist adventure, just to be summarily eliminated with the full approval of the Valar. As when Brave Ser Robin's minstrels were eaten, there was much rejoicing... Aside from that error, I didn't spot many worth mentioning. I will note that the opening sentence got me stuck in a recursive loop trying to understand it though. 'On the eve of' generally means 'the night before' so: "On the eve of the day after the caravan had left behind the column of smoke from the funeral pyres at the tiny dwarven Hamlet" Read to me as 'the night before the day after the caravan had left' which made me feel like my eyes were swirling in confusion straight out of an anime. 'On the evening of' would be better, though still a bit cumbersome.
