First 2025 Poll, the Patron Only Poll

Hey all.  Been dealing with a lack of network accessibility.  Ugh.  Anyway, King of Champions is back in my hands, and will be up today at some point.  I will be able to finish the Harry Sawyer teaser chapter, which was… ehhh? Like, I didn’t have time to work on much per day, as I feared, so it is very much more stream of consciousness than any chapter for a already established fic could be, but is it good? And with only really following Harry’s early adventures, it cuts down on character interaction a lot, which is where I get a lot of the humor of my fics. Hmm… Well, hopefully I will finish actually writing it today and have all day yesterday to go through and put in at least a few jokes and comedy. 

I’ve also noticed a severe lack of reviews on Effect and Stallion over on fanfic and even Climbing Together here.  Why? Likes are nice, but reviews are the true food for the writer’s soul. POUT.

Oh, I will be posting a few chapters of fics over on A03 today and tomorrow. If any of you prefer to read over there, I figured I’d tell ya.

Anyway, here is the first of January’s polls.  I will be starting work on FILFy, to get that out by the Super Bowl in February, and outlines for Stallion, Death’s Avenger, as well as editing the next chapter of ATP to be posted over on fanfic.  I wanted to start that work, but OH MY GOD, the mobile version of word doth suck.  That, and my brother’s portable keyboard broke. Grah…

Regardless, this poll will only go to the 6th.  That way, I can start work on the winner of this poll, get it out and move on quickly.  That, and well, family will continue to take up time until then. 

So without further ado, here is the Patron Only Poll for January.

The choices are:

Death’s Avenger – HP/WoW crossover: A group of satyrs have a very bad day, followed by Harry, Versera, Davo, Nealu and Reca heading out into the ocean. This proves a bit more fraught than expected, but the group arrives in Danaveia as another group arrives.  After a few clashes of personality, secrets coming out, and Versera putting her foot down in no uncertain terms, Tyrande and Harry have some time to talk, followed by Tyrande playing matchmaker again, much to her daughter’s chagrin. The two missions are discussed, and Nealu and Davo both decide to go with the exploration team heading to Northrend. Harry, Reca and Versera continue north on the urges if Tyrande, or rather the moon goddess, who sees some measure of trouble brewing in a land of many volcanoes to the south.  With Versera along, this allows Harry and Reca to take to the skies, which alas leads them into trouble, as there are animals out there stupid enough to attack even dragons. Meanwhile, Nealu and Staghelm get into an argument, and the ship heading toward Northrend runs into the troubles of any such travel: the unknown, and the weather.

Heroes of the High Seas – MHA/One Piece crossover: With Izuku only partially rebroken after the recent fight, dealing with the Grand Line starts to become much easier. Discussions (accidental flirtations) occur, while everyone compartmentalizes anew the fact that law and order here is not anything like what they are used to, aided by the books they brought back to the ship.  Iida has a mental crisis, Tsuyu a good cry, and Momo realizes ‘oh no, my friends are hot’ several times before they arrive at the next island, where the local flora attempts its darndest to make a meal out of them. This fails, but Izuku learns far more about his quirk than he thought to ever learn, while also growing more used to using it at higher percentages.  Mei accidentally starts a forest fire before Kyoka realizes that even the animals that look normal on this world might not be, before the crew arrive at the island or Rorca, although all is not so sunny on the island as an ex-marine has shown up to tear into his former fellows.  The opportunity to do good and make a great impression is too hard to resist, and with severe Rules of Engagement in place, the crew run into their second fight against a crew of pirates led by a devil Fruit user.  

Since Climbing and King of Champions were updated/will be updated in December, they will not be on the patron only poll this month.   I’d have liked to bring in King of Champions, but since I changed so many things from the chapter I wanted to write in that fic, I need to redo the overall outline going forward, and think about the next several segments to be introduced. 

However, Heroes will be getting the carry over effect of 388 and I will also be voting for it with my 400 votes. 

… SIGH.  Watch it lose anyway to the Harryboos.
