September Patron Poll Result Announcement
Added 2024-09-02 15:38:38 +0000 UTCHowdy All. I lost all of Sunday to family time, again, but hey, we’re around 4/5ths of the way done remodeling that damn basement! Progress.
As I said, the priorities going forward in September would be 1, Patron only Story (because you all are my #1 priority) 2, FILFY. From there, 3, Ranma, 4, HP. I will be taking today to go over Magic of the Force again to look for small errors and hopefully (HOPE) see Tomon sending me back the Stallion of the Line Chapter. We will see on that score. Then tomorrow, I will start on the winner of the Patron Only Poll.
The results of which are:
In last place, but with a good showing, Climbing Together, with a total of 1,549.
Death’s Avenger brought in a total of 1,940, for once losing due to the carry-over effect impacting the winner in a big way!!
The Carry over effect was 989 from August, a full half of the votes Heroes of the Highs Seas won there, and this time, it allowed the win with a total of 2,084!! WOOO!!!
That was without my need to vote for it. Now, normally I would still have added in my votes, as I said I would vote for it when I posted the poll. However, because I want to make certain I have time to finish FILFy, the Ranma winner, and the HP winner this month, I will be retaining my votes. I will then use them in the HP poll to vote for Fate Touched in Middle Earth.
Two reasons:
1. Timing, as said above. Fate chapters are routinely smaller than Bhaalson Remodel (and Magic) chapters. There’s also the crazy amount of font/style things to do with Bhaalson, and K, K, Khalid’s issues.
2. I REALLLY want to show fucking Amazon how it’s done! This isn’t even about my ego. I’m a single guy who loves his fandoms, and I can write a better story than those bigwigs. Like, fucking really?
Sorry. I have heard they are still pushing that horrible Galadriel/Sauron angle, and that is just… What?! Like… you people have no idea do you? No damn clue.
Yes, Ranma fans, next month, Climbing Together will gain the carry-over effect of 775 in October. It might even win, since the HP fandom will be split.
I will soon be posting the HP and Ranma polls soon. I may also post a new question thread later today.

Probably DC and Marvel comics writers from the past five years... I refuse to believe they have an ounce of quality or actual qualifying writing experience amongst themselves.

2024-09-02 17:03:04 +0000 UTCDeaths avenger almost had itttt, so close. Also, yeah, it's kind of depressing watching business majors take over such a classic world, and lore, and just butcher it beyond understanding

2024-09-02 16:30:17 +0000 UTCSo Heroes only ended up winning by 144 votes. Man, DA really is the most popular of the three stories. Ah well. I guess I'll have a couple of chapters for Heroes to read now, cause I haven't read the latest one yet.

2024-09-02 16:26:54 +0000 UTCSorry, i usually dont give a damn for the stuff since the Hobbit. REALLY? HAVE THEY BEEN WRITING HIGH? There is a reason i dont give a damn for new content to old series nowdays. Most of it is either bad or outright insulting(Yes, i saw the first episode for My Sith Academia, and i almost thanked on my knees that they canceled it)

2024-09-02 15:57:18 +0000 UTCThe people who write for those shows are people who would read one history book, and think that covers it. Then pat themselves on the back, and be all proud about this great new angle that makes no sense.
