Understandable, though. Like Death said, Oz is locked into a holding action, unwilling to change. It amuses me how sure Glynda was that Harry was naive. I hope they eat crow. (Not Qrow. :-). They're hella arrogant.

Still haven’t watched RWBY, so I’m not invested enough in Emerald as a character to have any feelings about her death. Shame we didn’t get a scene about Salem spying more closely on Harry.

One thing to point out when you said:Emerald had attacked from an angle as far away from the trio of illusions she had cast into Arturia’s mind. She now grunted in pain as a kick caught her in the face, shattering her White Fang mask and hurling her backward as her Aura broke.: you then have her use her Semblance and have her surviving a blow that without her Aura should have killed her then and there. Was I reading it wrong or does aura breaking mean something else in this story like being overwhelmed at that point but still having more?

2024-06-24 03:43:09 +0000 UTCI honestly love this story so far. I am really looking forward to more about the expansion of Evig Låga and Harry's role as leader of that part of the world. As usual your world moulding to what you want is amazing and i am constantly in awe. Thank you for the chapter

It might seem bad if Cinder thinks that Arturia killed Emerald, but no worse than if she had actually killed her like she was trying to do. Maybe she was trying to take them alive, but I doubt she would have been broken up if one of them died to one of her attacks. Regardless of Cinder's potential reaction and regardless of whoever did it, I think it's a good thing for Harry and his group that Emerald was killed. Even if it's only because it hurts Cinder's and Salem's plans. I look forward to the next chapter.
