Their inexperience is showing clearly and I like that, it's different. The group meeting Garp is going to be the best thing that can happen this early (like Coby). It would be fairly simple for the boys and Momo to learn the six techniques. Izuku might already have something like haki. Like the other poster said they have a lot of risks and hard lessons ahead. It would be neat to see a cameo of your other One Piece story here.

No one has such knowledge. Islands have been sunk to keep it that way. Only once you're a part of the system do you become aware of the vileness that runs it.

1. Huh. Honestly, I know more about ECM and ECCM and how they work than the actual radios. Meh, I will go back and put in more jokes in that area then. Although if so... why aren't there more actual radios in One Piece? I know there are some. But not many. Weird. 2. Here you have a MAJOR point. I intend for them to run into Garp in two more chapters or so. I want them to have time to get used to the Grand Line, for Izuku to heal and train up, and for them to learn a bit more about the world before they meet him. But I am not afraid of making up my own islands/adventures and so forth. We only really know one route from the start of the Grand line to the Red Line. And this way I can have them run into a few of the side adventures or even some of the other pirates. If they take out someone like Kidd or Apoo and then meet up with Garp, he'll cheerfully take the whole crew under his wing. 3. Yes. This is going to be one of the major reasons why they are going to be jumping ship. Not only will they have discovered the Weegee's sophistry, but they will know the WeeGee's plans for them in particular. I do not intend for them to stay with the marines long, only around four months... maybe six. Basically as long as Garp had to turn Coby into his pre-timeskip self, only starting earlier. Then it will be off to Alabasta...sort of. Now a question for you: Should Izuku or any of them develop Haoshoku? Buso and Kenbun is a given, but Haoshoku is supposed to be REALLY rare. And Izuku is honestly the only one I can see developing it, if he even does.

GRAH. will correct, although annoying LOL.

>..< or it could just be a mistake on my part.

I remembered something while I was thinking over the chapter. After the battle, you have them finding a book explaining that the Gorosei rule the world government, except there's six of them. I kind of think you're referencing Imu. The problem with that is that from my understanding, very few people know about the Gorosei, and barely anybody knows about Imu. The heroes aren't going to find out about them from a random book. The WG destroys islands for those types of secrets. That's my personal take, at least.

FINNNNNALY!!! I have been wating for this story to win a poll, so when i saw a new chapter i was soooo happy. I like how the Hero Squard aginst the Trump Pirates fight so exciting. The only thing i notice in you writing is that insted of writing Mei you did May insted. I hope to read many more chapter of this story in the future.

Great chapter! I was hoping for them to join the revolutionaries and not the marines, but I suppose they wouldn't have any knowledge of how terrible the world government is. I think they would also be more willing to help them get back home eventually.

Awesome! An update to this story, finally! Hopefully it's not the last of it's find :-(. A points of order and a couple of thoughts: 1) Very minor point of order. Shortwave radio DOES have the range to match Den Den Mushi. Even amateur-built shortwaves can hit 6,000+ miles, easily transoceanic. And higher-power installations can basically hit 3/4 of the planet with a signal. It's just not that commonly used anymore, as the bandwidth involved is better used for other technology. Building a shortwave is an extremely common project for engineer-minded kids, too. I built a shortwave receiver that could pick up signals from Russia (I lived in Missouri at the time) when I was around 8 or 9, I think? Out of a pretty simply kit, of course. They are still used somewhat both by amateur's and organizations that want to reach remote regions. Religious broadcasts that want to provide easy access to remote Africa, world news bulletins, etc. It's unlikely that Mei, Melissa, and Momo are all three ignorant of it. Toss in Kirishima and Asui too, actually, as it still gets common use as backup broadcasting at sea. 2) A observation, rather than a point of order. If the group doesn't join the Marines SOON, like within a few islands, I can't see them being willing to join at all. The Grand Line, of all places, is where the corruption of the WG and Marines is at it's most blatant. At the absolutely latest, there's no way they can pass through the Sabaody Archipelago without finding out about things like the Human Auction House and the Celestial Dragons. Hell, Momo would likely get kidnapped by the dragons for beauty alone if they spot her. That means, if you really want them to join the Marines, it's pretty much got to be on the Grand Line. And...there aren't all that many Marine bases in Paradise, so far as we know. Nor do Marine Bases normally reside on islands where the log pose will take you. In fact, I can't recall a single time in the series that a log pose took the Strawhat crew to an island with a Marine Base. Enes Lobby is the closest to that I can think of, and that's not actually what the log pose was locked onto. Instead, if I remember right, it was locked onto Water 7. 3) Another observation...how the heck are they going to keep the Marines from just sticking them in Vegapunk's lab? The instant they show their Quirks aren't Devil Fruits, the Marines and WG are going to be far more interested in replication of those abilities than in having a handful of mid-tier (At best. Shoto is the only one that's anything special by One Piece standards, as it stands.) fighters. The fact that Quirks are genetic is only going to make that even more true, if anyone makes the mistake of letting that detail slip. Since it makes it instantly better to the Marines or WG to just use all of them as to breed super soldiers with. The only way around it I can see is if they end up with a powerful sponsor. Someone like Garp or Aokiji.

Man, I am really loving this story - so glad it won this time! Greatly enjoyed the whole chapter, and the differing views on lethal force being used makes for some interesting differences. Great chapter, loved reading it.
