February2024 Ranma Survey Results

Hello… happy Friday to those of you who are not sick. I am. I have begun to get my voice back, but I do not have any energy, and every time I cough my face feels like someone is sticking it and my brain with a dozen pokers. I love my family, but would it kill us to have one get-together not cause one person to get several of the rest of us sick? It took a while to incubate after the Super Bowl (LAME commercials for the first time, only a few were good, the game was… well, I am not a tinfoil hat wearer, but certainly smelled like it was scripted) but both my brother and I are now sick.

Anyway… Death’s Avenger is done. It is off to the editor first before I post it this time… yeah… SO this is time to end the Ranma poll.

And… once more the power of the carryover works… Wow.

With a carryover vote of 915 and a initial vote of 2,108, the winner of the vote with a total of 3,023 is GDWHOM. Seriously shocked. And here I pushed myself last night to finalize the in-depth outline for Stallion. Oops.

Stallion of the Line brought in a total of 2,591.

The carry over effect really works best when there are only three fics rotating through the poll. I think it’s a good way to keep all three of the Ranma fics updating. The HP fics… not so much LOL.

Still, that does give Tomon another month to get a handle on his RL enough that he can come back and edit Stallion… I hope. Because it will be getting the carry over effect in March, and I just can’t see Effect of a Horse and a Dragon beating it with a freaking 1,295 step up.

In other news, I may or may not be able to start my plan for four chapters a month in March. It depends on an RL house project and… it’s tax season. And since I have moved, that is going to be interesting. I had also hoped to start going over the last two chapters of ATP so I can post it over on fanfic, as Observanc09 has not gotten back to me for over half a year. That hasn’t happened, and if the polls go the way they might, I might not have time for a full fourth work, but might have time for that. We will see.
