This was fantastic. One nitpick though, Mt. Horai is the mountain Ranma fought Herb on. The Saffron fight took place on Ho'o Peak. See ranma.fandom.com/wiki/Horai_Mountain and ranma.fandom.com/wiki/Ho%27o_Peak for details.

2022-03-04 18:05:29 +0000 UTCHonestly, this was fantastically fun to read, and I absolutely loved how Ranma seemed much more mature and somehow even more dedicated to the art, while also staying very true to his character. I thought that was incredibly well done. Also, really love how the relationships are being built up, and rather looking forward to the interaction with StarFire. Really, just incredibly excited to see more of this in the future when ATP is finished up, the first chapter was very very fun.

While ki vs solar is interesting, I'm more interested in the intellectual dynamic with the current thruple I see (more science or sci-fi based with Kara, magic and myth from cassandra, and physical and ki from ranma). I doubt Lara joining due to a comment reply mentioning a love/hate relationship, but then again we have to wait for that dynamic to come about (also the new movie is just a cheap copy paste of the video game it is based on, line for line without the game's engagement) And iirc, the age referring was probably from an outside character, an amazon guessing his age post washing ashore. Ranma himself reaffirms he's 8. Otherwise I don't recall any bit before hand age is brought up.

2022-02-14 21:27:11 +0000 UTCI remember you mentioning a possible Ranma/DC story in the future, I just didn't expect it so soon. It was a nice surprise, so thank you for that, but keep it mind that it does take some credibility from your complaints about how many stories you're working on at once, LOL. The premise is good, although how well Ranma will fit in with the theme can change a lot with how varied DC's universe is. One thing I find particularly interesting is the similarities between Ranma's Ki-based abilities and Kryptonian powers. Martial Artists use Ki, and Kryptonians use a certain spectrum of solar radiation. Both use energy to reinforce their physical abilities, both are able to use it to reinforce their physiology, and both can project stored energy (Heat-vision, Ki-blades, etc). It would be interesting to compare the two. Your harem choices are interesting as well. Cassie I assume is pretty much confirmed, with maybe Kara as well. The Tomb Raider inclusion was a bit weird. Is this the version from the new movie with the virus carrying mummified Japanese queen? One note, in the earlier part of the chapter you refer to Ranma as being 8, and then 7 in the later half.

I wanna see where this goes and I wanna see where there SF/Ranma story goes (glad you're going with Shampoo she doesn't get enough love), and I wanna see most of your other stories going on, stop tempting me with new things. Seriously though really love your work. ATP got me into your stuff, keep up the amazing work.

2022-02-13 03:44:00 +0000 UTCHeads up here, but Spider-Man seems to be sneaking into the Kent family tree somehow. Superman’s adoptive mother was Martha Kent, and I assume that that’s the name you intended Kara to be using unless she’s using May as a cover name for her Aunt for some reason.

You also had Kara saying “Aunt May” when I think you meant “Aunt Martha” as in Martha Kent. Loved it though, can’t wait till you add it to the real rotation!

2022-02-12 21:29:44 +0000 UTCThere seems to to be a scene missing at part of the story from where Happosai shows up at the Tendos and he's captured by the Amazons: “Never master!” Soun responded quickly. “It’s just, we struggle with, with describing your magnificence.” “What are you going to do with him?” “Jusenkyo. We will let the cursed springs decide what to do with this one. We’ve been able to recover everything Happosai stole and no one died in this rampage, so it isn’t to the point where we would kill him out of hand. Much as I would prefer that,” Kě Lún grumbled, also dealing with her own wounds, as were the other elders. I’m getting too old for this.

Ranma dealt with his troubles as they came a lot better, and keeping himself from being committed to the marriage drama is nice since it downplays a lot of shenanigans. Was expecting Ukyo to have popped up by the end of the teaser but there really was a ton going on so yeah. Meeting Lara sounds like it'll be a blast for Ranma with those adventures.
