Caring about missing members was of course meant as in the fact, that someone managed to make them missing, be it revenge for the sheer humility it caused (how dare they! :-D ) or to just remove threat big enough to actually endanger them and their mission :)

2019-04-02 07:54:41 +0000 UTCYeah, that was part of why I was having trouble with the chapter: I had to have characters repeat stuff and make certain Ranma got the point. This Jenny is very different from canon - she's taken her mage side, her magic power and strength, as seriously as she took her modeling career in canon. However yes, once Ranma's away, she's going to have an emotional downturn. It's called being strong in front of the man you like lol. I intend some things for the Demons, yes, but not going in search of the guilds who took part - rather, they may do one of two things: start attacking en masse specific targets to weaken all of Ishgar, or hunt down Ranma and remove the threat he obviously poses. However! caring about their missing members won't come into it. No demon would care about their loses, only what it would mean. They'll also have some problems on their own side of things. Yeah... Seilah... interacting with the others... that's going to be interesting to say the least. Glad you liked the chapter.

2019-04-02 02:29:47 +0000 UTCFor how much you described this chapter fighting you, it's really well done. Honestly the only complaint would the levity moments at the start of the chapter. When you're afraid for someone (Jenny) and don't know if she will be even the person she used to be due to head injury, you would be hardly in mood to partake in something like that. They could came later on, and they did and were much better for it :) But anyway all I'm saying is that the mood could be easily more serious at least until they met up with Wendy. Otherwise I enjoyed the whole chapter and aftermath. A lot of character pretty much repeated themselves but it was necessary and what they did have to say also true. Jenny in the end get off lightly and so far is taking it in stride, even if she is of course not happy about it. I wonder if her mood is going to get worse in time, when the supposed normalcy should kick in, especially with Ranma being already gone and probably out of reach. That being said it also depends on what happens with them gone. After all we got not only Edolas but also possibly pissed off demons who could easily come to look for their missing member. But currently I'm most curious about the "side-quest" Ranma and other are embarking upon. Oh and of course the interaction with their new demon friend :-D Excellent job.

2019-03-28 14:47:57 +0000 UTCThe kings, don’t make waves, the story title, making waves, and fan fiction in general have led me to believe that shot is about to get super real. Also taking a bunch of non magic reliant heavy hitters away before the edilos arc is suspicious. Great cool down chapter and with this super side quest at hand I know things will heat right back up.
