Pretty good chapter. I started chapter 17 and realized I hadn't finished this one. Lots of combat the last few chapters. Mostly good stuff. My only compliant is that the dragon/demon/ki confict, besides restricting Ramna's power levels, is starting to feel like an in-story off switch you hit whenever you want the good guys to struggle more. Not sure how often it's happened, but it feels like at least a few times now Ranma has just been turned off for a fight so that he doesn't stomp the bad guys.

I think it is one of the rarest things to happen in fanfics a complete beat down on weak and injured good guys and the lucky only live. This whole arc has gone down very nicely in my book with its twist and turns. - I think the largest change is about to happen from cannon in the next chapter. Hot eyes and Seilah selling out information to the King's conclave will be far different then in cannon when Magic Council, where in my opinion they hide their mistakes while attempting to clean up their mess. King's conclave will have spy masters make plans rather then a clean sweep. Giving enemies spy's false info is massive advantage, one I do not see magic council every doing. I agree Hot eyes could easy get a pardon similar to Gajeel given his action and the fact he broke the brainwashing. Regarding Seilah Ranma could just say he promised to spare her for the information. Which will be huge as the kings conclave has no real info on Tartarus or Zerf. The fact Grimoire Heart airship and the Demon cube would be info that would shock them to the bone. I honestly see them ripping apart Brains organization reveling Hot eyes and making him out as a hero, while hiding Seilah with all their worth. - Well I see the king's conclave having a very different opinion about this war then the guild masters. I mean at least 5 S-classes threats gone, ancient magic weapon blown up, Raven tail wreaked, dozens of dark guilds butchered, key intel, a lot more dirt on the magic council. At the cost of what a town and a few mages? I mean losing a S-class mage hurts, but that it. Also the start of this war started with a ambush that went off near perfectly and Ranma managed to get this results. I think the king's conclave will throw magic council under the bus stating that the ambush was their fault. - The guild masters I think will be the most hardest to tell. I mean all of them will want to give Ranma a lump on top of his head. I do feel the moment Raven tail gets mentioned those guild masters related to fairy tail or know how sick Iven is will give Ranma some slack. I am interested to see how your going to have them respond to this development. Will they respect Ranma more or scorn him? The best part of this is Ivan going to spill the beans on histoire lumen? I wonder why no one asked this yet or at least bring it up yet? I do not want any spoilers please, you're a amazing writer I bet it going to be great. - -Poor Ultear she going to be in for a world of shock when she find out the truth of Zerf!!!
