IMPORTANT: Changing in Modding Plan

Edit: Hi, as I’m looking at some other articles, I found that I may have some misunderstandings about the Patreon system.  I have mistakenly read the instruction as the cheaper Lite plan with only one fixed payment that I can set, and Pro with multiple levels as well as some other analytics tools, which isn’t the case. I have to either delete all the tiers for a cheaper platform plan or stay in the current platform plan even if I just want to keep one basic payment. I’m asking my other creator friends about this. Seems like it’s different for people with a page started before VS after 2019.

If this is true, I will keep the Patreon platform plan as Pro but also continue my modding plan as I said in the notice. Please check the following notice if you haven’t! Thank you!

Hello guys! How have you all been lately? 

I hope you are all well and are having a good time playing with my mods as well as the color swatches added in the latest game patch! Go check out all changelogs in September 2021 

I know it is probably weird to say, as I have been very active in modding for over a year now, I would like to ask for your kind understanding for some future changes.

I have been thinking about changing how my mods are distributed because of these reasons:

1. A personal reason that I have stopped taking antidepressants and anxiety medication and my mental state is getting worse than I thought it would be.

2. EA has started to release patches very often in the past few months, once or twice a month, which I'm very happy that they are trying to refresh the game. However, this also interrupts the progression of doing new mods. I was spending most of the time comparing game files and the mods, checking what has changed in patches, and fixing anything needed.

3. Since I was trying to update mods for additional features as usual as before within the patch releases, the updates usually break before I get to release them. It becomes frustrating for me to fix them quick and release them within the month in schedule. 

4. It becomes harder to do new mods and also early-access mod updates at the same time for the above reasons. It would be unfair to some patons paying more than the others while getting a similar amount of new content.

5. I want to spend some time on improving non-in-game-content, aka writing about each traits' features and modding tutorials for other creators on my site. 

For the next few months, I would like to:

1. Take a break from updating the rest of 100 Traits and focus on doing new mods

2. Stay productive and release two either new mod or major mod updates each month in early access for the same tier(s)

4. Check and fix mods for patches as usual. Again, any mod updates for compatibility with game patches are posted publicly and all free to everyone as before!

If not, I'm still thankful for the long-time support from you all which has been encouraging me to do creative content!

This is not a complete change in direction since I will still be here updating mods and provide technical support on my Discord Server. This won't change my mission in supporting my mods until the end of the Sims 4 series.
