100 Base Game Traits Pack v2

I can tell you have some great mods and traits, but I'm so overwhelmed and confused about how and what to download. At some point if you can do a "getting started" with some kind of graph or check-list to guide you through what to download first, last etc I think that would be super helpful! <3

The pickers are optional for you to add traits to Sims. You can remove the pickers if you don't use them.

I recently added the updated version of this, and have v1 as well, but the ones deleted out of it that this post says to delete (v1 part 1 and 4) and my menu when I click on my sim is all messed up now, like there are several "MORE CHOICES". I noticed in the zip there are new files called PICKER for P 2, PICKER for P 1 and so forth... are these necessary? because if they aren't I'd like to take them out...

It is not an error. CAS version of V2 still shows up in the reward store by default to use along with my More CAS Traits mod. If you don't like them in the store, you may use V1 instead.

Hey there! Thank you for your wonderful mods. Quick question about this one. I have the CAS version of the basic traits installed, but the traits still show up as reward options. Is this intended, or an error? I'd love a way to correct this if possible, since the traits clutter my reward store. Thanks in advance for any help!

Hey I had properly downloaded and installed the CAS version of this mod and it ended up breaking a lot of the graphics in my game so I just thought I should let you know that ! ;;

I don't get it. I have V1 and V2. Custom Content and Mods are enabled. Script Mods are allowed. I can't physically rearrange the files within the folders as it is alphabetized. A few a of the traits from V2 are showing up, but nothing I've done has allowed for everything to show up. I have no idea what I'm missing and its frustrating because when it was just V1, it worked and now it doesn't.

To have all traits on the list to show up, yes, you need both V1 and V2. It's because I haven't yet remade all traits for V2. Remaking all traits for both reward version and CAS version is too much work so I decided to take a break from it and focus on new mod ideas I have had in mind. 😉

Huh, maybe thats my issue as well. How do I access the other parts then? Are they all displayed in the download options and I just got confused?

No, they are all base-game compatible. Joslyn had the issue because he didn't download parts other than part 1 (Basic Traits) and part 4 (Attractiveness Traits) from v1, which he missed the three parts (2,3,5) from the list.

Hey it looks like I'm having the same issue as Joslyn, some of the traits don't show up in the menu for some reason. Do you need specific sim packs for any of these to show up maybe?

its directly in my mods folder everything is enabled as well, i only have the cas version in my game and the mood pack add on for it.

Since there is no other conflicting mod for my custom traits, check if you have the reward version from V1 in your mod folder. Any of my mods with scripts should be only ONE folder deep or put directly in your Mod Folder. Any of the other mods e.g. traits should be FIVE or fewer folders deep in your Mod Folder. Check if the "Enable Custom Content and Mods" and "Script Mods Allowed" are ON in Game Options. All the traits are compatible with patch 1.79! I'm updating the reward store add-on this week for all traits. I was doing updates for another traits pack because I want patrons to get a more variety of content this month. 😋

It is shift-click---> Traits Control. 😉 You need to have testing cheats on. In case you don't know how to turn on cheats. It's to press Ctrl + Shift + C and to type "testingcheats on". 😄

No, you can only choose one version. You can click on "What's the difference between Original (CAS) and Reward Version" and it answers your question. Besides, addon_STORE is for the traits to be picked in the reward store.

Im a little confused. Can I use both the CAS and Rewards traits at the same time? Also, what is chingyu_addon_STORE_Basic.package?

It is hard for me to manage the traits and translations with many separate packages. Sorry for that! You can use the reward version and only add the Gentle and Sensitive traits to the sims you want. NPC sims won't be generated with any reward traits! 😉

If you don't understand what many stuff means, you can just download chingyu_addon_STORE_Basic.package and chingyu_casVer_BasicTraits.package to try. They work as usual as other custom traits.

I know many people like having the traits in one package, but will there still be an option to have traits in separate packages? For Part 1, I only use Gentle and Sensitive. I know I could just not use the other traits on my Sims, but then NPC's use them, so I would rather just have the option to place individual traits in my game. Thank you for the work that you do, I particularly love your toddler traits.

This is the replacement of Part 1 (P1). You need to have Part 2-5 of V1 until I remake other parts too. 😉

Ok but I thought that was what the "rewardver basic traits.package" was. I guess my main question is in trying to figure out which ones to download and which ones would conflict with each other. So do I download the rewardver basictraits.package and the Addon store basic.package but not the casver basictraits.package (because I'm assuming cas version and reward version are the same?)

It's totally different. It makes the traits buyable in the Reward Store. I made voting asking people if they want the traits available to be purchased through the reward store and I received feedback that they want this option to be separated.

What is "Addon Store Basic.package? Is that a 3rd option to Basic Traits or Basic Traits Reward or is it a totally different package?

I have the mood pack. So I need to delete your P1 folder with the traits inside, like this post says and then just add the new "!chingyu_addon_LumpinouMoods.package" now? I don't see a download with a folder containing the P 1 traits. So you merged them into one package file now?

Chu~ Should I put !chingyu_addon_LumpinouMoods directly into the mods folder instead of placing it in the same one as the traits? (For example, my current variant looks like this: Mods - chingyu1023_100 TRAITS BUNDLE - (other folders like chingyu_100TRAITSPACK_P1_V2).

You can turn off the tense buff by the Always Disable Core Buffs or Temporarily Disable Core Buffs. I also lower the tense buff to +1 and make it disappear when Sims are in good mood!

Does turning off the buff completely remove it or just removes the persistent buff? For example my neurotic sim, will he never get the tense buff from the trait if I turn it off? Or is it like a buff that can happen randomly like Hot-Headed or Gloomy?
